Join an international excavation project at one of the earliest Constantinian episcopal church complexes in Ostia. This teaching excavation offers hands-on training in archaeological fieldwork, including stratigraphy, documentation, surveying and finds processing.
Applications are open to BA, MA, and PhD students in Classical Archaeology and Late Antique / Christian Archaeology from all universities. Participants will gain practical experience, earn 6 ECTS credits (internship recognition possible) and work within a German-Italian research collaboration.
