FAQ

You can enroll immediately after receiving your letter of admission until the start of lectures. However, due to the registration phases for the courses (see below), earlier enrollment is recommended! The enrollment form is sent by post to the Registrar's Office: University of Bonn, Dept. 9.3 - Registrar's Office, 53012 Bonn

The e-mail address must be noted on the enrollment form!

After receiving the semester documents, the Uni-ID should be activated in order to be able to use the web services of the University of Bonn (mail account, eVV BASIS, eCampus).

The activation takes place on the website of the University Computer Center of the University of Bonn.t

Registration for courses takes place via the electronic study portal BASIS.

Access data: 1. Uni-ID, 2. password

The registration phases can be viewed on the website of the Faculty of Arts and will be updated here as soon as they have been determined for the coming semester.

If courses are offered digitally, they will either be held synchronously via Zoom meetings or teaching materials will be made available to you via the University of Bonn's eCampus learning platform. Communication with lecturers also takes place via eCampus. As soon as you have registered for a course via BASIS, the lecturers will add you to the eCampus group.
