Assembling Indigenous Histories and Legacies in Venezuela
This project develops the first macro-regional, multi-temporal, interdisciplinary digital database and archive for Indigenous histories in Venezuela. By integrating archaeological, historical, linguistic, ecological, and geographical legacy data into relational and ontological databases, it enables advanced spatial statistical and network analyses of Indigenous movements between the Amazon and the Caribbean. The project challenges culture-historical paradigms and establishes a FAIR- and CARE-compliant digital archive for research and public outreach.
