DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to share with you the final programme for the C
 aribbean Research Society’s 2026 (SOCARE) Early Career Researchers’ Sy
 mposium\, entitled ‘Fractured Connections in the Caribbean’. The event
  will take place on the 18 of June at the Centre for Development Research 
 (ZEF) and on the 19 of June at the Department of Anthropology of the Ameri
 cas at the University of Bonn. We are delighted with the diversity of spea
 kers and topics to be discussed over the course of these two days. We woul
 d also like to welcome our keynote speakers\, Professor Tessa McWatt and P
 rofessor Dr Jean Marie Théodat\, whose work continues to inspire importan
 t debates in the field of Caribbean studies. These keynote lectures are op
