A team of 12 people; seven community researchers, researchers from the University of Bonn, from WCS, and from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, worked in Tacana communities affiliated to OCITB and in six Tsimane' communities affiliated to CRTM: Alto Colorado, Rio Hondo, Eden, Puente Yucumo, Alto Yacumita, and Motacusal. With the participation of the community members, the researchers documented the operational chain of various cultural materials: bows and different types of arrows, cotton woven maricos, different types of mats, ceramics, musical instruments, masks, and others. In addition, they visited sacred sites and others that they consider relevant to the history of their communities.
